2023 Easter celebration has been described as a remarkable one. A University Don and CEO Ehuji bu Uma Intercontinental Farms, Dr. Emmanuel Egba has used his Easter message to congratulate Ebonyi state governor elect, Rt Hon Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, he described his victory as a divine victory. In his words “Your Excellency, I wish to congratulate you on your divine victory and emergence as the Governor Elect of Ebonyi State in the just concluded governorship elections held on Saturday 18th March 2023 under the platform of the All progressive congress (APC) and your successful 8 year tenure as the Honourable Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly. Your Excellency, It is heart-warming to see you emerge as Governor-elect of Ebonyi State – Salt of the Nation against all odds and I am grateful to the electorates in Ebonyi for shunning entreaties of retrogressive forces who were ostensibly resolved on subverting the wishes of the people through vote buying and other rigging strategies and for standing on the truth to support equity, fairness and justice. Congratulations to you sir! It’s a deserving victory”

Dr Egba noted further that his victory and renowned brilliance has won the poor minds who wanted to eclipse the Ebonyi state political landmark with greed, quest for selfish aggrandisement, he in the same vein acknowledged his victory as a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy, “and Youth O’clock.”

Dr Egba with heart full of excitement appreciated the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr David Nweze Umahi, CON for being a father and great leader to Ebonyians and for standing on equity fairness and justice in the last election and his unflinching supports he gave to his son, Francis Nwifuru who he found worthy to succeed him as his tenure ends. “Kudos to the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi FANSE FNATE CON, who I call Father of Equity, Fairness and Justice for promoting sustenance of Ebonyi State Charter of Equity regarding the position of the Governor of the State. He intoned that justice and equity has become a loud gospel largely preached here”

Dr. Egba also called on the co-contestants to join forces with the governor elect-FON for better service in Ebonyi state, and to put Ebonyi interest, service and betterment first; that will sustain our history that was recently re-written in the comity of Nation.

The University Don and Teacher of law, Dr Ede Egba who doubles as the CEO of Ehujibuma Continental Farm expects that the governor elect will hit the ground running from 29th of May, 2023. Even although as he may be facing the daunting task of governance. Surely, he stated that the task ahead though enormous, but he is confidence that with the wealth of experiences of the governor elect over the years, it will definitely make the task ahead easy for him and will make Ebonyi and Ebonyians proud with his welfare oriented manifesto.

The University Don also thanked the Chairman Ohaukwu local government council Prince Ikechukwu Odono, Chief Sunday Inyima Agbalagba, the Honorable Commissioner for Water resources Ebonyi state, Dr. Princess Chinyere Elom, Hon. Paul Nwogha former Izzi LG Chairman and SSA to the Governor on Solid Mineral Development, Chief Charles Ofoke Apc Secretary of Ebonyi state, Hon. Uche Nwampkuma SA to the Governor, Chief Fidelis Nwifuru (Ohamadike), Chief Chudi Ogbonna CEO Boko mining and all those who contributed to the success of Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to be elected the Governor of Ebonyi State recently.

The CEO Ehuji bu uma Farms also acknowledged the role and the prudence of the Director General of the campaign council of FON Chief Austin Umahi, Chief Ogbuefi Elekwachi Akpa the SSA to the governor on LG and Chieftency matters and APC Chairman of Ebonyi state Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, Chairman Elder’s Council, Chief Engr Ben Okah and many others.

He admonished christians to be replica of Jesus Christ, his words ” As Nigeria Christians join their counterparts across the world to celebrate Easter, the celebration of Easter is the most important event in the salvation of mankind. Easter is a period of selflessness and supplications, I admonish christians to pray for peace, love, forgiveness and tolerance among each other and more importantly, the success of the incoming administration of Ebonyi State”

As the resurrection of our Saviour completes the divine work of salvation, he prays that the Almighty God who has unquenchable control over the lives of humans and whole universe and who blesses without control will guide, protect, uphold and enshrine Solomonic wisdom to the governor elect to lead Ebonyi State to a greater heights.

Finally he wished all Ebonyians and well wishers a memorable and rewarding Easter celebrations.

PRINCESS DR CHINYERE ORI ELOM: AN EXTRAORDINARY AND POWERFUL WOMAN IN THE GAME

Obviously, there’s no better place to start than with Princess Dr. Elom Chinyere Ori, Former Ohaukwu LGA Chairman, Manager Ebonyi Hotels and SSA in Ebonyi State government who first came into public reckoning as Manager Ebonyi Hotels

It’s impossible to talk about political power players without talking about Dr (Mrs) Chinyere Elom. In Ohaukwu and Ebonyi State in general No woman has been more effective when it come to party politics, assisting the less privileged and carrying the youths along in politics and empowerment.

Born into the Ezeogo Achi-Okpaga royal and political dynasty of Ekwashi Community. Dr Chinyere Elom practically had her future mapped out for her. With a family so deeply involved in political activities, it was almost a no-brainer that Princess Chinyere would develop interest in it and go in the way of her father (Ezeogo Achi-Okpaga) the former old Anambra State House of Representatives member and traditional ruler of Ekwashi Ngbo.

The former Chairman of Ohaukwu LGA is a true force in politics. Since being elected to the office of the chairman of Ohaukwu LGA, she is the second female chairman of Ohaukwu and the highest-ranking female elected official in Ohaukwu history. She fought and tackled internal and external insecurities especially Ngbo-Agila crises. Having a strong political background and a lady with power, she encouraged women empowerment across the local government as local government chairman then, and as wife of the Vice Chancellor Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo now. Many have been employed into federal university to her credit. Some have submitted credentials waiting to be invited for interviews. She’s a blessing!

Dr Chinyere Elom is an extraordinary woman who is living a life that is certainly full of fascinating experiences; however, she will always be known as the Iron Lady and 25 star female general because of her perseverance.

Beautiful is an adjective that aptly describes Princess Elom Ori. Beautiful and endowed with glowing skin, her fashion sense can’t be faulted.

Agbalagba is a born strategist. Throughout his life, whether as a pupil, student or career man; political appointee or Chairman of local government, Agbalagba has applied the art and science of strategy to ensure success in all endeavours in which he is engaged. He strategised and was outstanding as a student. He strategised and was efficient and effective as a career man. He strategised and was accomplished as a grassroots politician.

He strategised and was excellent as a Local Government Chairman in Ohaukwu. He strategised to lay a sound foundation for the youths of Ohaukwu and fought for a young Odogwu to be the Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu and Omekannaya Odah to be chairman. He is strategising to position youths at the apex *”Youth O’clock”* He is a fervent believer in the dictum that strategists do not fail and so will not fail the people of Ohaukwu LGA. He strategised and deliver Gov Umahi in 2015 sand 2019 elections. He strategised and became one of the best commissioner in Ebonyi State government.

Committed to a better, egalitarian society, Agbalagba, though fully anxious to build a society with the youths.

What then is the ultimate honour for a public officer like him upon whom so much laurel has been heaped? I believe the logical step is for the youths to follow, support and take him as a father “Follow who know road” and allow a consolidation of the achievements on youth development.

Underrate him at your peril, he holds the ace of strategic impulse, deeply unassuming but perilously a master strategist.

Still a grand guru of unpredictability and a political mystery. Till date, no one has been able to dissect and give an exact diagnosis of the man called Agbalagba. He is a leader with unpredictable acumen.

The Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu LGA, Prince Ikechukwu Onwe Odono has welcomed the residents of Ohaukwu to the new month of April with words of encouragement and hope.

Prince Odono in his encouraging message, said; “A happy new month to the patriotic and industrious people of Ohaukwu LGA.

“I appreciate God, the maker of heaven and the earth, for His mercies endures forever.

“No doubt, the preceding month was progressive and fulfilling, even though it was not devoid of challenges and setbacks. I urge you to be optimistic on the outlook of this unique month of April 2023.

“This is another opportunity to make things right and prospect the best for all of us. I assure the good people of Ohaukwu of continued quality, purposeful, resourceful and people-oriented administration.

“To all the citizens, your welfare remains my top priority and you will continue to get my attention. I will proceed with nominations and attract to Ohaukwu people-oriented projects that have a direct stance on the lives of the people.

OHAUKWU CELEBRATES VICTORY OF RT HON FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU, NWEBONYI, NWACHUKWU, CHINEDU ONAH AND ESTHER AGWU

It was a time of joy and celebration on Thursday, March 22, 2023, as the Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu LGA, Prince Ikechukwu Onwe Odono(Odogwu Akatàka) with other top stakeholders hosted APC stakeholders and party faithful to a party to celebrate the victory of the party in the recently concluded general elections.

While addressing, the Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu LGA, Hon (Prince) Ikechukwu Onwe Odono (Odogwu Akatàka) expressed his profound gratitude to all stakeholders and party faithfuls for their relentless support during the electioneering period that gave the APC flagbearers the desired excellent results at the polls. He said, the government of Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru will be anchored on transparency and integrity and be of a benefit for Ohaukwu people.

In their different speeches, Ebonyi State Commissioner for Water Resources, Chief Sunday Inyima (Agbalagba), Hon Peter Oge-Ali and Dr (Mrs) Chinyere Elom PhD, commended the people of Ohaukwu LGA, most especially the stakeholders and foot soldiers for delivering APC in Ohaukwu LGA. They noted that APC has been rebranded for greater glory and expressed belief that subsequent elections will be more smoother and people of Ohaukwu have spoken with one voice by electing APC candidates.

They as well maintained that the victory is worth celebrating and expressed confidence that Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru will deliver the dividends of democracy to Ndi Ebonyi and Ohaukwu LGA.
